PFD Sales and Building Connections with our Community
Greetings once again, SG family! It’s PFD season! Each year the PFD offers us Alaskans a bit of a boost to take away some of the financial strain and to give many of us the opportunity to take a breath, catch up on bills, make some big purchases, set aside money into savings, and to stock up on all sorts of supplies for the fall and the approaching winter. In this post we’ll be celebrating the bit of extra spending money we all have by discussing the unique deals starting this week that we’ll have on a variety of cannabis delights in our stores, along with a few other important updates we would like to share.
Our goal for our PFD Sales is to get our guests well-set for the rest of October and beyond with quality cannabis choices by offering some incredible prices on our products. Read on to see:
· Select strains will be sold at $100 for an ounce of flower.
· We will have $3 .5g pre-rolls on select strains.
· Cold Creek Extracts cartridges will be available at $28 for .5g, and $50 for 1g.
· Our CBD products, merch, and paraphernalia will be 50% off.
· Select 1g concentrate offerings will be available for as low as $35.
· For the first 33 customers on October 3rd at each store – You’ll be able to choose one of these special choices for only $1:
o An eighth of Grapes & Cream or Glitter Bomb flower.
o 1g concentrate of Lemon Ice Pucker, Peach Sangria, or Oreoz sugar wax.
· If you spend $100 or more, you’ll be eligible to win a gift basket of various items worth $150 - $200 of CBD products, gift cards, various home goods and more.
We also have new pricing available for our deli-style options moving forward – stop by either of our locations at any time to explore our in-house grown flower and all of our other offerings. There are a variety of new strains we’ve grown in our Cultivation available as deli, and we’re excited to share our flower with you at these new price points. Opening up more opportunity for you guys to try a wider selection of our strains is so exciting to us and we hope you enjoy everything.
On October 24th, Scorpion Grass will be sponsoring Thursday Night at the Fights at the Egan Center (555 W 5th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501)! Bringing 30 years of boxing and MMA to the Anchorage community, Thursday Night at the Fights has provided an incredible amount of excitement to those who have attended, and we can’t wait to be there. We’ll be cheering on the fighters and doing giveaways at our table, and we hope to see you that evening. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $40 for ringside, and the doors open at 6:30 PM. Fights start at 7:30 and we’re looking forward to joining the spectators for a thrilling event.
October is a special month for us at Scorpion Grass – the 5th marks the 1-year anniversary of our Huffman location opening up, and we’ve been looking back at all of the work our people put in to see that project completed. So many talented individuals came together, both from within Scorpion and from outside companies and organizations, to get Huffman up and running and we’re incredibly proud of the team that’s there. We’ve been seeing more and more familiar faces now that people in the community are becoming regular visitors, and the gratitude we feel for having such a wonderful store to operate in Anchorage is immense. We truly do want to provide the community there with premium quality cannabis products that provide uplifting experiences and we hope we can continue to be a great provider moving forward into the future.
We recently made a new connection with The Workshop Community Center in Anchorage to sponsor them and to provide them with items for their silent auction on October 19th. The Workshop positions itself as a non-profit community organization dedicated to supporting families, art, and education through free and low-cost events and services. They have the goal of creating a comfortable community space where artistry and creative expression are encouraged, educational opportunities are available, and healthy relationships can be developed between all the people who visit them. We really connect with their mission, and we’re excited to support the goals they’re setting for positive youth development in the city. We’ll keep you updated with our involvement with The Workshop as time goes on.
