Exciting summer events & the new ways to share our cannabis products with you
Hello again, friends! These past few weeks have been showing the occasional glimmer of the approaching summer, and with the excitement that comes from beginning to shift to the new season, we here at Scorpion Grass have been setting our focus on the things we can do over these next few months to have fun and to build more connections through the unique events that our Alaskan home can offer.
Let’s start by talking about the biggest holiday of the year; 420. This year, we’re planning on offering incredible sales for many of our cannabis products to celebrate all the gifts everyone’s favorite plant has provided us. Stop by some time before then and talk to one of our budtenders about the newest strains we’ve just harvested from our cultivation – they’ll be ready for you to try very soon and on 420 you’ll see an awesome array of cannabis delights to experience. In addition to that, we now have the SG Variety Pack coming soon in our brand-new packaging. Just the right size to store a generous number of canna-goodies into, the SG Variety Pack will be perfect for our upcoming events and special sales. We hope to see as many of you as possible on 420, and we sincerely hope that the whole upcoming month will be safe and fun for everyone.
Following that event, we’ll be at the Jimbo’s Wish 1st Annual Golf Tournament at the Settlers Bay Golf Course on Saturday July 13th! One of the most influential and highly respected members of the Alaskan community was the late Jim Hacker; the brilliant man who founded the H5 Construction company which built many of Wasilla’s businesses and has done construction projects throughout Alaska and beyond. Jim was the definition of an honorable man, and his values and mentality guide much of what we do here at Scorpion Grass since many of us knew him well and were close to him. Jim passed away from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and Jimbo’s Wish was made as an organization to help individuals and families in need who are suffering from that challenging condition. We will be sponsoring the golf tournament along with many other prominent companies throughout Wasilla and we hope to see you there! Registrations are open to anybody, and for any of you who enjoy golf, the Settlers Bay Golf Course is breathtaking during the summer time and we would love to have you participate. Lastly, we have the Alaska State Fair. Few events bring people together here like the fair does, so this year we wanted to have some fun by offering the chance to win tickets to see Ludacris live! At our Huffman location, you can make one entry per person per day for free to potentially win two tickets to his shows! August 23rd and 25th he’ll be up on stage. Winners will be contacted by us and we wish you the best of luck if you enter!
