Celebrating the Spirit of Togetherness

Throughout the week of February 14th this year, fragrant buds bloomed like love in the air at Scorpion Grass, and we invited our visitors to celebrate Valentine's Day with a sprinkle of green magic and a dash of gratitude. We had the sweet aroma of premium strains intermingling with the spirit of affection as guests browsed through our curated selection of cannabis delights. Our Valentine’s Day promotions were not just about finding the perfect strain to elevate the senses; they were also about sharing the love that grows within our vibrant community! Our hearts were brimming with thankfulness for each patron who walked through our doors, and it’s important to continue to roll up kindness, pack bowls of appreciation, and light up the room with the warmth of shared laughter and heartfelt conversations. At Scorpion Grass, we cultivate more than just exceptional strains; we cultivate connections, spreading the love and gratitude that make every visit an experience to cherish. From our green sanctuary to your heart, we sincerely hope that you had a lovely Valentine's Day!
Near the beginning of the month, we also had our Manufacturing Director return from his classes in Phoenix, Arizona which gathered together many cannabis extraction experts. This was a two-day master extraction class focusing on not only Hydrocarbon but as well as Solventless extraction methods. The class was taught by two very knowledgeable industry leaders; Ian Hazelton and Nick Tanem, who have 20+ years of extraction experience from all over the world. Ian has been working in the field of extraction since the mid 2000’s and has developed extraction methods and consistencies known and consumed by people all over the US. Nick Tanem is one of the pioneers in the development and innovation of ice water extraction and pressing rosin, and he is known internationally for his methods and expertise in the solventless form of extraction. Having the opportunity to attend the classes was of huge benefit for our Manufacturing, and much of what was learned will help to inform us of how we can evolve Scorpion Grass Manufacturing over time to reach our true potential and innovation for our customers! We’re very excited about new extraction products reaching the hands of our visitors later this year, so make sure to keep an eye out for them when they arrive and we’ll be ready to answer any questions you have once they’re available!
We’re seeing much more discussion lately surrounding hemp-derived delta-9 THC products, and how states and businesses are figuring out how to legally support the sale of those products and whether or not any lines are being crossed in the process. Much technicality is involved, and it is a difficult and complicated issue. It’s foreseeable that changes are coming to how hemp-derived consumable products are sold across many states, but it is always important to remind ourselves that as long as we all work together to advocate for a positive future for both cannabis and hemp, as long as we operate strictly within the boundaries of what is compliant and legal, and as long as we discuss it with lawmakers with sincerity and accurate information, we should see things improve slowly but surely. Facing adversity in our industry is a call to stand up and help each other, and Scorpion Grass will always be here to help our fellow businesses in whichever ways we best can.
